*Cyanotype, also known as iron-blue print, is a photographic process where the image is developed on paper through the interaction of iron-containing chemicals and ultraviolet light. The result is an image with white lines on a blue background.<\/p>\n
The uniqueness of iron-blue print<\/strong><\/p>\n This photo development technique, dependent on multiple factors, makes both the process and the result special \u2013 it’s possible to strive for a certain perfection, which requires skill and mastery, but at the same time one shouldn’t be discouraged by imperfections and defects, which can add nuances, layers and uniqueness to the images.<\/p>\n The works presented in the exhibition “Nordic Blue” were created in a laboratory using UV lamps.
