For what purpose is personal data processed?
Personal data is processed to fulfill the contract concluded with the customer or to fulfill a legal obligation (e.g., accounting, and consumer dispute resolution). Personal data is used to manage customer orders and deliver goods.
Purchase history data (purchase date, product, quantity, customer data) is used to create an overview of purchased goods and services and to analyze customer preferences. Personal data such as e-mail address, telephone number, and customer name are processed to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support). The e-shop user’s IP address or other network identifiers are processed to provide the e-shop as an information society service and for online usage statistics.
Transfer of personal data to authorized processors
The merchant keeps the customer’s personal data, which has become known to him during the registration and use of the user account, confidential and discloses them to third parties only with the customer’s consent, except if the obligation or right to publish data arises from legislation. The e-store user agrees that the merchant has the right to process his data to provide appropriate services to the customer, including transferring the customer’s data to persons involved in the merchant’s provision of services to the customer. Security and data access
Personal data is stored on Zone.ee servers located in the territory of a member state of the European Union or countries that have joined the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection has been assessed as adequate by the European Commission and to US companies affiliated with the Privacy Shield framework.
The e-shop implements appropriate physical, organizational and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, loss, modification or unauthorized access and disclosure.
Transfer of personal data to authorized processors of the e-store – processing of personal data takes place based on contracts concluded with the e-store and authorized processors. Authorized processors are obliged to ensure appropriate protection measures when processing personal data.
Viewing and correcting personal data
Personal data stored in the e-shop can be consulted and corrected in the e-shop’s account management. If the purchase is made as a guest (without a user account), you can submit a request for personal data by e-mail.
Storing data
Upon closing the e-store’s customer account, personal data is deleted, except if such data needs to be kept for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes.
If a purchase is made in the e-store as a guest (without a user account), the personalized purchase history is stored for three years.
In case of payment and consumer disputes, personal data will be stored until the claim is fulfilled or until the end of the statute of limitations (three years).
Personal data necessary for accounting are stored for seven years.
Data deletion
Personal data stored in the e-shop and the user account can be deleted by writing to info@eriart.ee.
Solving arguments
Customer support resolves disputes related to the processing of personal data. The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee).
Eriart OÜ is the responsible personal data processor and transmits the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorized processor Montonio.
